not a "Club". It is an OPEN Repeater System where all licensed amateur radio operators are welcomed. We like to think of it as a "Membership System" where the members support and help maintain
the System. The Site Rentals, and Liability Insurance and other System maintenance costs are where your dues go. They literally keep the WIN System "on the air". If a repeater breaks down, you will find that Shorty, and his volunteer maintenance supporters, will get it back on the air almost immediately. Everything wears out and breaks once in a while, but things don’t stay broken for long around the WIN System.
